@freaked:

Netzfund:
Using MS-Mail 3.0, the predecessor of Outlook Express that came with IE 3.0 on a 386 machine with WfW 3.11 and also Eudora Light 1.52.
The test e-mail that is send with Internet Mail is received on the Eudora client.
Sending to external e-mail addresses is possible.
Had to setup up my own (local) mail server (a Synology NAS, a front end for the Linux Postfix mail server), which is accessed by the clients over (unsecured) ports 110 en 25.
Since my provider has blocked port 25 for outgoing e-mails I am using a relay, which is from a Microsoft account (by making Aliases).
Mails to Gmail addresses are not received, due tho the lack of DKIM and DMARC (SPF has been setup normally). I don't need/want to send mails to Gmail addresses, so I don't care.
For me the e-mail on this 386-16 Mhz, 4 Mb RAM and 52Mb Quantum harddisk is working fine and it even has it's own e-mail address!
Mores specs about the PC can be found here (in Dutch only until now):
https://home.deds.nl/~soedesh/21.htm
Found a bug(?) in the Internet Mail client, which displays a wrong date, because the mail was send today, on the 12th of November, but is says wrong!
